Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Bridal Seamstress/Tailor- Wedding Gown Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will bring bridal visions to life by expertly fitting and altering wedding gowns with precision and care. Your craftsmanship will help brides feel confident and radiant on their special day! Duties Measure clients accurately to determine necessary alterations and customizations for wedding gowns Use sewing machines and garment construction techniques to alter, resize, or customize bridal dresses Perform fittings with brides, making adjustments to ensure perfect fit and comfort Repair and restore damaged or vintage wedding gowns with meticulous attention to detail Collaborate with clients and staff to understand design preferences and provide expert recommendations Maintain a clean, organized workspace equipped with sewing tools and materials Ensure all alterations meet high-quality standards and are completed within scheduled timelines Requirements Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring, preferably within fashion retail or bridal industries Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other tailoring tools Strong understanding of fabric types, garment fitting techniques, and sewing patterns Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and address their needs Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating fabric requirements, and making precise adjustments Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail, patience, and a passion for creating beautiful wedding attire Join us in crafting unforgettable moments by transforming bridal dreams into reality!
