Job Description
Seamstress Tailor Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress Tailor to join our professional alteration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clothing alterations, with expertise in both men's and women's wear tailoring. Looking for high-quality and clean alterations to meet client specifications. The successful applicant will demonstrate an organized work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required to ensure clear communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities Perform clothing alterations with precision and attention to detail for both men's and women's garments Conduct clothing repairs and adjustments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, and resizing Specialize in men's wear tailoring as well as women's wear tailoring, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with clients to understand their alteration needs and provide professional recommendations Ensure all work meets quality standards and client satisfaction Adhere to industry best practices for garment handling and alteration techniques Requirements Over 5 years of professional experience in the alteration industry, with a proven track record of working on formal and regular clothing alterations Strong organizational skills and a disciplined work ethic Must be able to produce clean, precise work consistently Excellent communication skills in English for effective client interaction Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Knowledge of various sewing techniques, fabrics, and garment construction methods We are a small business in a friendly community, a close-knit environment withing our small team.
