Overview Needs to know how to sew and sew a complete couture garment. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The seamstress must be able to finish a complete garment. No alteration seamstresss needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a strong understanding of sewing techniques. This role involves working with silk fabrics and materials to create high-quality garments, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every piece produced. The Seamstress will play a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties Operate sewing machines to fabricate garments according to specifications and patterns. Perform garment construction tasks including cutting, sewing, and finishing. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all items meet company standards. Collaborate with team members to streamline production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the atelier. Troubleshoot any issues with sewing machines or materials as they arise. Qualifications Proven experience in sewing and garment construction minimum 20 years of experience. Familiarity with various types of silk fabrics and knowledge of sewing them. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Experience in patternmaking. Three letters of recommendation required. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Application Question(s): At least 20 years of sewing experience. Must be able to sew a complete garment. Couture (made to order) sewing experience.
