Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Seamstress/Tailor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments and upholstery pieces by applying expert sewing, cutting, and finishing techniques. Your craftsmanship will ensure that each product meets rigorous quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and embroidery equipment to assemble garments and upholstery items with precision and consistency. Measure fabrics and materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and dimensions. Cut fabric manually or with cutting machines following detailed patterns and specifications. Construct garments by sewing seams, attaching zippers, buttons, and other fasteners while maintaining seam construction integrity. Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper storage, organization, and materials handling practices to prevent waste or damage. Maintain compliance with safety standards in production environments by following safety protocols and using protective equipment. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to meet established quality standards in production and ensure finished products meet specifications. Requirements Proven experience in garment sewing, upholstery, or related textile manufacturing roles. Proficiency with sewing machines, serging, embroidery machines, and other industrial sewing equipment. Strong understanding of fabric materials, their properties, and appropriate handling techniques. Skilled in measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for precise garment fitting. Knowledge of seam construction techniques and garment construction processes. Ability to manually cut fabric accurately following detailed patterns or templates. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to promote a safe working space.
