We are an online shop (www.urbantroos.com) that sells pillow cushion covers made from African mud cloth and imported cotton fabrics. He or she will be responsible for cutting fabric and sewing pillows to specific measurements and designs. Candidates for this position must have a strong background in sewing and be able to come to our business office once a week to cut fabric. The sewing of the pillows can be done at the candidates desired location. The expectation is a one week turnaround of approximately 75-100 pillows. Compensation is paid by the finished peice. An experienced seamstress should be capable of making a minimum of 3-4 pillows per hour and earn much higher compensation than the industry average of $13-14/hour. We pay $8 per pillow.

Cutting fabric to specific meassurements Cut material to match design Sew the pillows which includes an invisible zipper and brand label Repair holes in fabric, if necessary Quality control of the finished product Provide your own fabric cutting and sewing equipment
