The Sewing Machine Operator 1 is responsible for the fabrication of tents, sidewalls, and other vinyl products which are produced. The role includes operating equipment such as cutting machines, sewing machines, and manual assembly.
Essential Duties:
Ability to perform sewing functions using needles, scissors, and other items necessary for Tent manufacturing. Possess a sense of urgency to work in a time sensitive, fast-paced team environment Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize with good hand-eye coordination Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy Ability to work well independently, as well as a vital member of a team Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Job Specification:
1. A minimum of a High School Diploma 2. Ability to read, write clearly and do simple math 3. English as a primary language 4. Good verbal communication skills 5. Must be able to work with others

Working Climate:
1. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. a. Lifting of a rolled tent approximately 20"x 20" x 36" weighing up to 50lbs b. Team lifting a rolled tent approximately 20"x 20" x 36" weighing up to 150lbs, not to exceed 50lb per individual. c. Folding/Rolling of Large Tents upto 150lbs in sections.
