Responsibilities Measure fabric and materials using various measuring instruments to ensure precise cuts and fits. Cut fabric manually or with industrial cutting machines, following detailed patterns and specifications. Sew garments using sewing machines, serging, ensuring strong seam construction and durability. Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently, maintaining optimal machine performance throughout production shifts. Handle materials carefully during processing, including fabric handling, storage, and transportation within the workspace. Maintain strict adherence to quality standards in production by inspecting finished products for accuracy, consistency, and defects. Follow safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workspace for all team members. Qualifications Proven experience with garment sewing or related textile crafts. Proficiency in using measuring instruments and understanding dimensional measurements for accurate fabrication. Skilled in seam construction techniques, sewing machine operation, serging, etc Familiarity with manual cutting methods and materials handling within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of fabric materials and their specific handling requirements. Ability to operate industrial sewing machines safely while maintaining high-quality output. Experience working in a warehouse or production environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in production processes.
