I run an alterations and tailoring business across Gold Coast and Winnetka, with a focus on bridal work, and I'm overflowing with customers right now. Looking for an experienced seamstress/tailor to take on overflow work on a contract basis, bridal gowns, suits, general alterations, all of it.

What I need:

• Real experience is a MUST, especially with bridal gowns: hemming, taking in/letting out, bustling, bodice work
• Comfortable with delicate fabrics (lace, satin, tulle, boning)
• Also comfortable with general tailoring (suits, pants, dresses) — bridal experience covers most of this already
• Your own workspace and equipment
• Portfolio or photos of past work required (bridal work especially, if you have it) This is flexible, appointment-based contract work, you set your own hours.
