FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE-DAY SHIFT

This position fabricates custom mantles and assists in fabrication of standard mantles, as required. Execution A. Perform operations required for fabrication of standard and/or custom heating mantles. B. Operate sewing machines as directed. C. Operate simple hand sewing tools, such as needles, thread, pins, scissors, etc. D. Operate simple hand tools. E. Operate Stimpson eyelet machine. F. Complete and process necessary records. Accountability A. Responsible for reading designs and accurately interpreting information required for mantle construction and quality assurance procedures. B. Be familiar with current mantle construction materials, methods, processes and procedures. C. Be responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of all related paperwork. D. Responsible for knowing and following Company quality policy. E. Responsible for recommending new or different processes, procedures or materials that could improve the products or reduce product costs. F. Responsible and accountable for any tools and materials issued to them and promptly reporting any damage to such. G. Responsible for executing assigned tasks in a safe manner and according to company policy. H. Responsible for compliance with company policies and rules, regular attendance and the efficient use of time and materials.

Qualifications:

A. High school graduate or GED. B. Ability to receive, understand and execute verbal and written instructions. C. Ability to measure accurately using tape measures, rulers,etc. D. Ability to use an ohmmeter. E. Basic math skills. F. Ability to perform functions of the job outlined above without creating a threat to the safety of oneself or others. G. Ability to perform each major duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

Work Environment:

A. Routinely exposed to fiberglass. B. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. C. Safety eyewear required to be worn at all times. D. Appropriate footwear will be worn in production areas.
