Job Description
Westaff is hiring for an Industrial Seamstress position in
Lafayette, La Pay:
$11- $15/Hour Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pmQualifications:
- Previous factory sewing, or upholstery experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow instruction manual
- Able to read tape measure
- Able to work standing most of day
- Able to perform teamwork and maintain a positive attitude STRONG leadership
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut rope, windows, and other materials
- Rope and tie shields
- Keep accurate counts
- Label and package items Perform quality control work
- Assist in gluing, organizing, and any other tasks that support sewing
- Handle job order paperwork
- Assist with inventory control
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
