In this role, you will be responsible for professionally pressing and finishing garments to ensure they meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain the appearance and presentation of clothing items, contributing to excellent customer satisfaction. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision, efficiency, and customer service are key. Responsibilities Operate pressing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to press various types of clothing, including suits, dresses, shirts, and uniforms Inspect garments for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing and notify supervisors of any issues Follow specific garment care instructions to ensure proper handling and finishing techniques Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to uphold hygiene standards and operational efficiency Assist with laundry and dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are properly cleaned and pressed before delivery or pickup Keep accurate records of garments processed, including special instructions or requests from customers Skills Prior experience in dry cleaning or hotel industries is highly desirable, especially in linen or garment care roles Knowledge of dry cleaning, laundry procedures, and garment finishing techniques Strong understanding of cleaning standards and fabric types to prevent damage during pressing Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to operate commercial pressing machines safely and efficiently.
