Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Alterations Professional to provide expert tailoring and garment alteration services for custom clothing. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and delivering exceptional quality.

Responsibilities, Requirements, and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality alterations on custom garments, including suits, jackets, trousers, and shirts Execute precise fittings and adjustments to ensure optimal garment fit and client satisfaction Work independently to manage alteration requests in a timely and efficient manner Maintain consistent quality standards and attention to detail across all garments Communicate effectively regarding timelines, garment needs, and any alteration considerations

Requirements:

Must own and maintain all necessary sewing and tailoring equipment Proven experience in alterations and tailoring, specifically with custom or high-end garments Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship Reliable, professional, and responsive communication skills Provide references Show examples of work

Preferred Qualifications:
