The Seamstress Tailor will play a vital part in providing custom tailoring services that satisfy our clients' needs and expectations. Duties Perform clothing alterations to improve fit, style, and appearance of garments according to client specifications. Use pressing machines to press, shape, and finish garments, ensuring a professional presentation. Measure clients accurately and interpret their tailoring requests to deliver tailored solutions. Sew, hem, and make adjustments to various types of clothing items with attention to detail. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making any necessary adjustments before delivery. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper care of sewing and pressing equipment. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tailoring needs and provide expert advice when needed. Requirements Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor with a strong portfolio of completed alterations. Proficiency in using pressing machines and other tailoring tools. Excellent sewing skills with an eye for detail and precision. Ability to interpret measurements and tailoring instructions accurately. Strong understanding of different fabrics and garment construction techniques. Good communication skills and customer service orientation. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
