Seamstress Assistant- Beading and Steaming Castle Couture Manalapan, NJ Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Sewing Serving clients Customer service In-person customer service Textile repairs Stitching English Garment pressing Assembly Basic stitching technique Sewing machine Pressing machines Garment finishing Garment construction Full Job Description We are currently seeking a qualified seamstress or tailor to join our team! As a seamstress assistant, you will work alongside our lead seamstresses and focus on beading and steaming as well as prepping gowns by removing appliques and opening/closing seams. Applicants must be proficient in all areas of alterations.
Job Requirements:
o Exhibit a professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service to all customers o Make Minor repairs to stock inventory, when necessary o Press and prepare gowns for customer pick-up o Must possess excellent sewing and amending skills o Possess a good knowledge of fabrics and measurements o Flexible schedule including weekends
