Duties may include sewing, patterning, alterations, repairs, fittings, and other costume-related tasks necessary for productions. The Costume Technician will also work closely with the Shop Supervisor to support the daily operations and maintenance of the Costume Shop. This may include organizing materials and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, assisting with inventory, and ensuring that the shop remains functional and prepared to meet the needs of Theatre and Dance productions. Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications List the preferred qualifications within this text box. Previous experience with sewing, costume construction, alterations, or wardrobe work. Basic knowledge of sewing machines, sergers, hand sewing, and other costume shop equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality workmanship. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, student designers, and other student employees.
