• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented seamstress/sewist to join our small business that specializes in customizing loungewear and denim with applique and embroidery.

As a contracted seamstress, you will be responsible for personalizing high-quality garments, with your own sewing machine (ideally) , that reflect our brand's unique style. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabric cutting, sewing and customization with a strong eye for detail. Responsibilities:

• Operate a Cricut machine to cut letters and shapes from various fabrics
• Prepare, position, and secure fabric appliqués onto garments
• Sew appliqués using a crisscross/zigzag stitch
• Maintain consistent placement, stitching, and overall quality
• Potential for full time
• Complete finishing work, including trimming threads, tagging and inspecting garments
• Assist with additional apparel production tasks as needed
• Learn to operate our multi-needle embroidery machine with provided training
• Communicate clearly and consistently regarding scheduling, project progress, and any production questions
• Accurately track all hours worked and maintain the production and design schedule using shared Google Drive documents

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a sewing machine
• Familiarity with appliqué or zigzag stitching preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Willingness to learn new equipment and production techniques
• Cricut and embroidery experience is helpful but NOT required Postion Details
• Contracted 1099
• Flexible hours
• On-site in Cardiff, CA
• Hours will vary based on production needs
• Training will be provided on Cricut and embroidery machine

Pay:

$17.00per hour
