EXPERIENCED SEAMSTRESS WANTED
Piecework Sewing for a Local Handbag Company Join an iconic Colorado company with a 35-year history of designing and manufacturing beautiful fabric handbags. Maruca Design has proudly designed and manufactured handbags in Colorado since 1991. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for experienced seamstresses to join our production team. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time piecework , we have regular production bundles available for qualified sewists. Enjoy the flexibility of working on your own schedule. Friendly, supportive team that values quality craftsmanship. Requirements Experience with production sewing, garment construction, alterations, upholstery, handbags, or similar sewing work. Strong attention to detail and consistently high stitch quality. Ability to complete production work on schedule. Required Equipment Commercial/industrial straight-stitch sewing machine (Juki, Brother or equivalent brand). Commercial/industrial serger (overlock) machine. Domestic/home sewing machines are not suitable for this production work. Work Details Competitive piecework pay. All materials, patterns, and sewing instructions are provided by Maruca Design. Work is picked up and returned in production bundles every week. Experience sewing handbags, installing zippers, attaching linings, applying binding, sewing labels, and working with heavier-weight fabrics is preferred. Local sewists in the Denver metro area are preferred. Out of State candidates will be considered from KS or AZ depending on experience and capacity.
