• Full-Time Bustle & Hem Alterations | Fort Worth, TX Bustle & Hem Alterations is seeking a skilled and professional in-house Bridal Seamstress to join our team.

We are closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. We are an appointment-based bridal alterations studio, and reliability and commitment are essential. Each seamstress plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, high-level client experience. This is not a contract or freelance role. We are looking for a long-term team member who wants to grow within an established bridal business. Position Overview This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You will work directly with brides and their stylists during fittings (pinnings), execute alterations (complete the work), and contribute to the overall experience from first pinning to final fitting.

We are seeking:

An experienced bridal seamstress OR A seamstress with strong foundational skills who is willing to train under senior leadership and grow into bridal alterations through demonstrated comprehension and performance Responsibilities Perform bridal gown alterations including (but not limited to): Hemming multiple layers (including lace and tulle) Bustle creation (American, French, ballroom, multi-point) Bodice adjustments and structural fitting Strap and sleeve modifications Zipper and closure adjustments Conduct fittings and pin gowns with precision Communicate clearly with brides regarding fit and alteration recommendations Maintain organized workspaces and gown tracking systems Meet agreed-upon turnaround timelines Collaborate with stylists and team members to ensure cohesive client service Qualifications Prior bridal or formalwear alterations experience preferred Strong technical sewing skills required Ability to work with delicate fabrics (lace, beading, silk, satin, tulle) Understanding of garment construction and fit principles Comfort working directly with clients in fitting appointments High attention to detail and quality control Professional communication skills Reliability and long-term commitment mindset Schedule & Availability Weekend availability required (Saturdays 9-6) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11-6 Commitment is essential due to our advance-booked fitting calendar Compensation Hourly pay based on experience and skill level Growth opportunities tied to performance, accuracy, and client satisfaction Long-term advancement potential within the company Ideal Candidate You take pride in precision.
