Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and provide expert design advice using professional art or illustration skills Prepare skin by following strict sterilization protocols and maintaining a clean, sanitized workspace in accordance with tattoo and piercing safety regulations Execute tattooing procedures with precision, attention to detail, and adherence to sterilization protocols Educate clients on aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and satisfaction with their new body art Maintain comprehensive records of each procedure, including sterilization logs and client information Uphold sanitation standards by regularly cleaning equipment, work areas, and adhering to health regulations Assist with store management duties as needed, including inventory management of supplies and retail sales of related products Skills Proven experience in tattooing with a strong portfolio demonstrating artistic talent and technical proficiency Knowledge of body piercing techniques is a plus, along with certifications in piercing safety if applicable Familiarity with tattoo and piercing sterilization protocols and sanitation practices to ensure client safety Ability to communicate clearly with clients, understanding their vision while providing professional guidance Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment and foster repeat business Knowledge of color theory for effective use of ink colors in tattoo designs Basic first aid knowledge and first aid protocols for handling minor injuries or emergencies in the studio Excellent communication skills for client consultations, team collaboration, and store interactions Join us to turn artistic passion into meaningful body art while providing a safe and exceptional experience for every client.
