Experienced Body Piercer - Part-Time/ Full-Time Spinner Ink Tattoos is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable Body Piercer to join our team. We are looking for someone who not only knows how to perform professional body piercings, but also understands how to operate and manage the piercing side of a tattoo shop. This position is ideal for someone who can come in with experience, take ownership of their department, stay on top of inventory and supplies, and maintain a clean, professional, and compliant piercing environment. Responsibilities Perform professional body piercings safely and efficiently Provide clients with proper piercing consultations and aftercare instructions Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized piercing station Properly sterilize equipment and maintain sanitation procedures Monitor piercing jewelry, needles, disposable supplies, and other inventory Know when supplies need to be reordered and prevent items from running out Place or prepare supply and jewelry orders as needed Receive, organize, and restock piercing inventory Maintain accurate inventory of jewelry and piercing supplies Follow all applicable health department requirements, sanitation standards, and bloodborne pathogen procedures Properly handle sharps and biohazard waste Maintain professional communication with clients and other staff Help keep the piercing department running smoothly without needing constant supervision Requirements Minimum 2+ years of professional body piercing experience Previous experience managing, ordering, and restocking piercing supplies Strong knowledge of professional piercing jewelry, equipment, and supplies Knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, cross-contamination prevention, and bloodborne pathogen safety Familiarity with applicable health department regulations and requirements Ability to perform a variety of common piercings confidently and professionally Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable, organized, clean, and professional Able to work independently and take responsibility for the piercing department Schedule 2-5 days per week Schedule can be discussed based on availability and the needs of the shop. What We're Looking For We want someone who already knows the piercing business. You should be comfortable performing piercings, managing your station, keeping track of inventory, ordering supplies, restocking, maintaining health and sanitation standards, and helping us build a strong piercing department at Spinner Ink Tattoos.
