As our U.S. operations continue to grow, our Lynwood studio is looking for an experienced, energetic, and client-focused Professional Body Piercer to join the team. Position Overview The Professional Body Piercer will perform body piercings safely and professionally while providing an excellent client experience from the initial consultation through aftercare education. The successful candidate must have at least one year of professional piercing experience, a strong portfolio, and thorough knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, jewelry selection, and aftercare procedures. Responsibilities Perform professional body piercings using safe, sterile, and appropriate techniques. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable piercing placements and jewelry. Explain risks, healing timelines, and aftercare requirements clearly and accurately. Maintain complete compliance with sterilization, sanitation, infection-control, and bloodborne-pathogen procedures. Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready piercing area. Follow all consent, identification, recordkeeping, and age-verification procedures. Monitor jewelry and piercing-supply inventory and report replenishment needs. Assist clients with jewelry selection, sizing, placement, and styling. Address client questions and post-piercing concerns professionally. Support studio sales, customer service, and daily operational needs. Maintain punctuality, reliable attendance, and professional conduct. Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of professional body-piercing experience . A portfolio showing completed and healed piercing work is required. Strong knowledge of piercing techniques, anatomy, cross-contamination prevention, sterilization, and aftercare. Familiarity with professional piercing tools, jewelry materials, sizing, and placement. Excellent communication, customer-service, and sales skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a studio team. Reliable attendance and availability to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Must hold or be able to obtain all body-art practitioner registrations, permits, and health-and-safety certifications required by the state Preferred Qualifications Current Bloodborne Pathogens certification. Current CPR or First Aid certification. Experience working in a professional tattoo and piercing studio. Experience with retail jewelry sales, inventory management, and client follow-up.
