Job Description

Head of Operational Engineering and Manufacturing sought by Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. in Little Rock, AR. Analyze the Manufacturing Engineering stage to provide technical resolutions including work instruction level of detail, format, and digital tools. Analyze cabinet manufacturing processes to avoid final squawks. Facilitate production of engineering modifications for the Cosmetic Inspection Bench to ensure representativeness within the aircraft. Analyze design of simulation tools to test cabinets and aircraft bundles before installation. Oversee the Cabinet Shop, including CB1 (manufacturing of elementary parts and Finish including application of stain, varnish, or paint), and CB2, including final assembly for all cabinets. Manage the Upholstery shop, including choice of material (leathers, ultra-leathers, fabrics), qualification, cutting, stitching, and modeling. Manage the Manufacturing Engineering Unit including analysis of characteristics correspondence between US and French materials to allow for substitution when needed, analysis of manufacturing processes to enable the shop to build more basic references (locally used or not), and analysis of shop capacity to allow basic parts to be more massively integrated into the load. Supervise mechanical engineers.
Reqmts:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equiv) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field plus 6 years' exp in job offered or similar role. 6 years of post-baccalaureate experience with/using the following: type spec and supplement type spec; defining sequence of installation of aircraft interiors (monument); sequence installation of cabin design, adjustable means of installing the monument including cabinet, manufacturing, and seat upholstery.
