The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, specializing in the restoration and creation of upholstered aerospace interiors. This role requires proficiency in various hand and power tools, as well as, sewing techniques to fabricate and assemble high-quality upholstery products. Background in automobile upholstery will qualify for the job.

LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WITH 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH LEATHER AND SYNTHETIC LEATHER.

Duties Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble upholstery materials. Fabricate custom upholstery pieces according to specifications and design requirements. Operate sewing machines to sew fabric, padding, and other materials together with precision. Restore automotive/aerospace interiors by replacing or repairing upholstery components. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols while using tools and equipment. Skills Proficient in using hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling upholstery materials. Experience with power tools for various fabrication tasks. Strong sewing skills with the ability to operate a sewing machine effectively. Knowledge of fabric types and their appropriate applications in upholstery work. Familiarity with auto restoration processes is a plus but not required. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
