Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Carpet Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of carpets in various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure optimal results. Conduct floor care tasks, including buffing and polishing hard surfaces as needed. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas through effective janitorial and custodial practices. Utilize environmentally friendly cleaning products and methods to promote sustainability. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Inspect carpets for stains, damage, or wear, and report any issues to management. Follow safety protocols while operating cleaning equipment and handling chemicals. Skills Proficient in carpet cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Strong knowledge of floor care methods, including buffing and polishing. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred. Familiarity with environmental services practices is a plus. Ability to perform commercial cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
