The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in upholstery techniques, manual handling, and the use of various tools to create and repair upholstered components. Duties Measure, cut, and assemble vinyl materials according to technical specifications and blueprint drawings. Reupholster and repair existing upholstered components using appropriate upholstery techniques. Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and sewing machines with precision and safety. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabric application and assembly. Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of upholstered parts. Maintain quality standards by paying close attention to detail throughout all stages of upholstery work. Collaborate with woodworking and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless assembly of upholstered components. Qualifications Proven experience in upholstery, particularly with vinyl materials, is essential. Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques including reupholstering, fabric cutting, and repairing. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and sewing machines. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specification documents accurately. Experience with woodworking or assembly processes is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail combined with manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks.
