Job Description

Job Summary Alpine Service is looking for a Laborer to join our team at our terminal in Blackfoot, ID. We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable candidate to join our team of dedicated and hard-working Laborers and Mechanics. Compensation will depend on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1.
Follows safety rules:
utilizes protective clothing and equipment, reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor 2. Attend safety meetings when scheduled 3. Physical manual labor, heavy lifting, work in heat/cold environments 4. Facility and ground maintenance (cleaning and organizing buildings, shops, trailers, etc.) 5. To assist in carrying out welding and fabrication as necessary. 6. Unload trailers as needed 7. Sort and put away tires 8. To ensure the security of vehicles/shop as appropriate, maintaining shop in a safe place. 9. To complete all documentation including work-orders, PM sheets, and Inspections 10. To undertake training as may be required 11. To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures 12. To understand and comply with the Company's policies and procedures. 13. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the shop as needed. 14. Must pass drug and alcohol screening tests as required by Company Policy and Federal Law.
Physical Requirements:
1. Moderate physical demand, continuous lifting or moving light weight to moderate weight materials and working in difficult work positions. 2. Vertical lifting 3. Carrying 4. Upper extremity push/pull 5. Repetitive coupling 6. Climbing steps/ladders 7. Repetitive posture 8. Static posture 9. Balancing 10. Walking 11. Kneeling 12. Overhead reach 13. Bending 14.
