We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Upholstery Technician/Seamstress to join our team. In this role, your duties will center on sewing and tailoring custom fabric, vinyl, or leather covers for vehicles, boats, aircraft and more. Daily tasks include operating heavy-duty sewing machines, measuring and cutting fabric patterns, and collaborating with upholsterers to ensure precise fits. Your expertise will help bring new life to a variety of items, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet customer expectations. Responsibilities Use hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and other equipment to cut, sew, assemble, and upholster furniture or vehicle interiors. Repair or replace damaged upholstery materials, including fabric, leather, foam, and padding. Measure and cut fabric or other materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish. Follow detailed instructions and specifications to achieve consistent quality standards. Assist in the assembly of furniture or auto interior components during the manufacturing process. Conduct quality checks throughout the upholstery process to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience working with hand tools, sewing machines, power tools, and upholstery materials. Familiarity with sewing techniques specific to upholstery work. Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications for accurate assembly and repair. Strong attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship and quality assurance. Prior experience in auto interior restoration isREQUIRED.
Pay:
