Job Title:
Upholstery Technician Hours:
Monday thru Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm and Friday 5am-1:30pm
CT Pay:
$16/hour

Knox, IN Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholstery Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Assemble fully upholstered furniture on a production line efficiently and accurately. Handle and apply fabric and upholstery materials to furniture and decor without causing damage. Read and interpret blueprints and utilize a tape measure for precise assembly. Perform all upholstering functions, including spring installation, seat building, insiders (end caps/backs), outsiders, and trimming. Operate upholstery tools such as staple guns, mauls, scissors, regulators, brass nail guns, tack pullers, and more. Stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods (9+ hours daily). Use arms, hands, fingers, and eyes continuously to assemble furniture. Lift up to 60 lbs., carry up to 30 lbs., and push or slide items weighing up to 150 lbs. as needed. Adhere to safety requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses). Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to meet shared goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Experience in upholstery or furniture assembly is preferred. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
