Shift:
Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Build something you're proud of. Get paid for craftsmanship. We're hiring Upholsterers & Assemblers at our Topeka plant located at 536 Michigan Street, Topeka, IN. This role is hands-on, skill-based work producing high-quality furniture used in healthcare, hospitality, travel, and marine environments. If you take pride in detail, like working with your hands, and want stable, full-time work—you'll fit here. What You'll Do Assemble furniture components using fabric, foam, wood, and hardware Use hand tools and air tools (staple guns, glue systems, etc.) Read work tickets and follow build instructions Inspect your own work to meet quality standards Problem-solve when materials or fit issues arise Rotate across tasks as needed to support production flow What You Bring Upholstery, assembly, construction, or hands-on production experience preferred Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn quickly Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and consistent performance Strong attention to detail and quality Team mindset—communicates and supports others What to Expect on the Job On your feet most of the shift (8-10 hours) Repetitive hand/arm movement (pulling, stapling, positioning materials) Lifting regularly (25-40 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs with support) Non-air-conditioned production environment Fabric dust and standard manufacturing conditions Why Wieland Designs Competitive pay based on skill and experience Paid holidays and vacation Consistent weekday schedule (no rotating shifts) Stable, full-time work Team-oriented environment—people matter here Opportunity to learn multiple skills and grow Apply Today Apply at www.wdi.work or call/text Osmara at 574-312-4816 Competitive insurance benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, matching retirement, life and disability.
