Job Description

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or this may be waived by the building principal Computer and Public Relations skills Qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Reports to:
Food Service Manager Job Goal:
Facilitate the process of maintaining student and staff lunch accounts.
Performance Responsibilities:
Collect and deposit lunch money on a daily basis. Inform students, parents and staff of negative and low balances by sending home, emailing or mailing letters weekly. Inform the Food Service Coordinator of seriously delinquent accounts that may require collection action. Communicate with the Principal regarding any family that would benefit from a donation or a Principal application for F/R Lunch. Ensure students have a reimbursable meal Authorize the deduction of money from individual lunch accounts Compile and turn in Free and Reduced Meal Applications to the Food Service Coordinator during the school year. Type menus as needed. Perform all other duties within the scope of the Food Service Program as assigned.
Terms of Employment:
10 Months; 2 hours per day. Salary to be established by the Board.
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Building Principal in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
