Full Job Description About us Novita Design is a small business in South Chatham, MA focused on creating the finest custom furniture and cabinetry available. We deliver bespoke designs based on our customers' needs and created by our craftsmen.
Our work environment includes:
Safe work environment State-of-the-art woodworking machines (Industrial CNC Router, etc) CAD/CAM design On-the-job training Relaxed atmosphere We are seeking a talented and experienced Woodworker with a strong attention to craftsmanship and fine detail. An ideal candidate will be organized, have an eye for form and function, the ability to see and create from the big picture, and experience in at least one of the following areas: carpentry, cabinet making, or furniture construction. We are interested in hiring an individual who can stand on their feet for long periods of time and lift heavy boxes. We are willing to train a smart, energetic self starter. Hourly rate dependent upon experience. Please attach your resume and cover letter.
Responsibilities:
Complete projects using tools and machinery. Have knowledge about different kinds of wood and woodworking techniques. Help other people to build and assemble. Be able to drive a car and bring materials to job sites or the workshop. Be able to work under pressure. Be familiar with woodworking techniques. Able to lift heavy objects.
Job Types:
Contract, Part-time, Full-time Pay:
$20.00 – $35.00 per hour
Benefits:
Flexible schedule Application Question(s): This is a part-time position to start (2-3 days per week) but could expand to a full-time position in the future. Can you work part-time initially? How soon would you be available to begin work if hired?
