Aircraft Composite body work and sheet metal

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled body person and or sheet metal person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Automotive and Aviation , demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing surfaces, sheet metal, and basic assembly. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process. Assemble components as required for specific projects, ensuring adherence to specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in application and alignment. Follow Lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and minimize waste. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in Automotive or Aviation industry. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the painting trade. Knowledge of machining processes may be beneficial for certain projects. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. We Are an Aircraft Manufacturing Facility that is looking for a full time Body and assembly person. We have a professional Paint and body shop in house and would consider hiring the individual as a separate contractor or employee.
