Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Trimmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precisely trimming, assembling, and finishing upholstery components for furniture. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and materials to ensure high-quality craftsmanship. The Upholstery Trimmer plays a vital role in delivering durable and aesthetically pleasing finished products that meet company standards. Responsibilities Trim and finish upholstery materials using hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and fabric cutting equipment Assemble upholstered components according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish Use calipers and other measurement tools to ensure precise cuts and assembly Conduct quality inspections throughout the trimming process to maintain product standards Assist with heavy lifting of materials and finished products within the warehouse or manufacturing floor Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Requirements Proven experience in upholstery trimming, or related manufacturing roles Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools Experience with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and material handling preferred Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality craftsmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality furniture manufacturing through skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail.
