Responsibilities:

Cut, bind, and construct custom area rugs to precise specifications Read and interpret measurements accurately, including 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" increments on a tape measure Identify and match patterns within carpet for clean, professional results Operate sewing machines, scissors, and other cutting tools with precision and care Learn and apply new rug-making techniques and equipment as needed Assist with occasional van/delivery duties as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods

Requirements:

Good manual dexterity and comfort working with sewing machines and cutting tools Carpet experience a bonus; ability to see/match patterns within carpet a plus Willingness to learn new techniques Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work in precise fractional increments Valid NC driver's license with a clean, dependable driving record Must be 21+ (insurance requirement) Experience driving a van; box truck experience a plus Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Reliable transportation

Pay:

$14-$15/hour to start, with room to grow after a 90-day evaluation
