Monday- Thursday, 6:00 AM
- 4:30 PM (Overtime available on Fridays)
Pay:
$28- $32 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire ProStaffing is seeking experienced upholsterers for a growing furniture company located in Hiddenite, NC. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Upholsterer to join our team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing, replacing, and creating upholstered furniture pieces according to specifications. This role requires experience with various fabrics, padding, tools, and upholstery techniques to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Remove old upholstery, padding, and fabric from furniture.
- Measure and cut fabric and materials accurately according to patterns or dimensions.
- Attach padding, springs, webbing, and fabric using hand tools, power tools, and adhesives.
- Repair or replace damaged furniture frames, springs, and stuffing.
- Match fabrics and patterns to ensure a consistent and professional appearance.
- Work with clients or designers to select materials and understand custom requests.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting completed pieces for flaws or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and handle all tools and materials safely.
- Keep records of work completed and materials used. Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as an upholsterer or in a similar trade.
- Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, fabrics, and tools.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to read measurements, patterns, and design drawings.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift, bend, and work with heavy furniture.
- Good communication and customer service skills for custom work.
- Basic carpentry or sewing skills are a plus.
