This position supervises but does not directly manage a team. Position Summary A successful candidate support Metrolina teams by maintaining and repairing tables for the Labor team. Key Responsibilities Repair broken aluminum tables in the greenhouse Prep broken tables for repair Other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledgeable of common hand tools Ability to read and use measurements Preferred Qualifications Welding experience is a plus, or knowledge of Forklift experience Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility. Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons. Employee must have the ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
