Job Description
Job Summary Please only apply if you have experience in the upholstery field. You will be responsible for transforming raw materials into custom upholstered booth seating for commercial use. Your expertise is needed for upholstery techniques, fabric and leather handling, and technical interpretation to ensure each project meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and contribute to creating functional, stylish, and durable upholstered items. Duties Create patterns for material based on custom parts Interpret drawing specifications to accurately assemble components Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, sewing machines, and manual cutting techniques to shape and assemble upholstery components Repair and maintain existing upholstery by replacing worn or damaged fabric, padding, or structural elements Handle heavy lifting safely when moving large parts or materials to ensure efficiency and injury prevention Incorporate various fabric materials such as leather, textiles, or specialty fabrics into finished products with attention to detail Perform woodworking tasks as needed for frame repairs or assembly of upholstered items
