Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interior Installation Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will have applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience or trade school education. This role involves removing and installing and/or fabricating aircraft interiors under close supervision, using company operating procedures and quality standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Aircraft Interior Installation and Fabrication:

Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels). Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality specifications.

Material Tracking System:

Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off paperwork.

Equipment and Tool Usage:

Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.

Safety and Compliance:

Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.

Additional Functions

Aircraft Certification and Testing:

In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.

Other Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience or trade school preferred

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Able to work any shift

Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, and lift up to 40 pounds

Must be computer literate

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Must be US citizen or have work authorization

Uniform Policy

Uniform Requirements:

Purchase uniforms from designated supplier (CINTAS).

Interim Attire:

Wear navy-blue shirt/t-shirt and blue work pants/shorts (no denim) prior to receiving uniforms.

Suggested Items:

3 T-Shirts

3 Flat front pants

2 Face masks (in case the mask mandate returns)

Safety Shoes:

Steel-toed shoes required for job duties.
