Job Description

We are looking to add a dependable, hardworking person to our tarp shop team. Previous sewing or tarp experience is NOT required. If you have experience with industrial sewing machines, tarp repair, fabrication, or similar work, that is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person from the ground up. What matters most to us is reliability, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We can teach you how to do the job, but we need someone who shows up on time, works hard, takes pride in their work, and wants to become good at what they do. The position involves manufacturing and repairing tarps and other heavy-duty fabric products. Work may include industrial sewing, measuring and cutting material, tarp repair, hardware installation, and other general shop work. What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual — consistent attendance is important Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive throughout the day Willingness to learn new skills and take instruction Able to work with your hands and learn to use shop tools and equipment Able to lift and handle approximately 50-100 lbs Comfortable working in a hands-on shop/manufacturing environment Able to work independently once trained and as part of a team Industrial sewing or tarp experience is a plus, but not required We are willing to invest the time to train someone who has the right attitude and work ethic. You do not need to come in knowing how to sew or make tarps. If you are dependable, willing to learn, and aren't afraid of physical work, we can teach you the skills needed to succeed in this position.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Benefits:

Tell us about your attendance and punctuality at your previous jobs. This is a hands-on shop job that can be physically demanding, including regularly handling heavy materials and occasionally lifting 50-100 lbs. Tell us about any previous jobs or experience you've had involving physical or hands-on work Industrial sewing or tarp experience is a plus, but it is not required—we are willing to train the right person. Tell us about a skill you had to learn on the job and how you went about learning it.
