Mechanic / Truck Accessories Installer Discount Hitch & Truck Accessories - Rosenberg Discount Hitch & Truck Accessories is seeking a skilled Mechanic / Truck Accessories Installer with experience working on vehicles, tools, and aftermarket equipment. This is not a general automotive repair position — we are looking for dependable, hands-on individuals who understand installations, take pride in quality work, own their tools, and want a long-term career. Benefits Competitive Pay (based on experience) 60% Employer Paid Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Long-term growth opportunities Stable, growing Texas company Responsibilities Install trailer hitches and towing equipment Assemble and install aftermarket truck accessories Install commercial truck equipment including flatbeds, service bodies, and work truck upfits Install Ranch Hand bumpers, bed covers, fuel tanks, fifth-wheel hitches, steps, lighting, and more Perform leather interior installs (Katzkin-style) using company equipment Inspect completed vehicles for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Diagnose installation issues and perform repairs when needed Troubleshoot customer concerns professionally and efficiently Assist sales team when needed to support customers Keep bays, tools, and showroom clean and organized Perform light facility maintenance when needed Qualifications 3+ years mechanical / installation experience preferred Experience with truck accessories, towing products, suspension, fabrication, or commercial upfits strongly preferred Must own basic mechanic hand tools Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and measuring tools properly Ability to read instructions and follow procedures Strong problem-solving ability Good communication skills Bilingual is a plus Able to lift heavy products and work in a fast-paced shop environment Strong attendance and punctuality required Stable work history preferred (we are looking for long-term team members) Who We Want We want team members who: Show up on time Work hard without excuses Take pride in clean, quality installs Want to grow into leadership Respect customers and coworkers Want a career, not just another short-term job
