Job Description
Hands-on Shop Position Overview Dread the thought of spending your days behind a desk? If you'd rather run a drill press and a belt sander than a keyboard, you might be a good fit. We're looking for a dependable person to join our team in a fast-paced shop environment. Full-time | $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience The Work Running shop tools and equipment — drill press, sanders, grinders, and more Assembling, preparing, and finishing parts and materials Measuring and checking your own work for accuracy Handling and moving materials Doing repetitive work without letting quality slip Keeping the shop clean and organized, including tools, work areas, and trash Teaming up with others on larger or more involved builds This is physically demanding work and involves lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for long stretches. What We're Looking For Shows up on time and is dependable Detail-oriented — checks their own work and catches mistakes Follows instructions and works well both independently and with a team Willing to learn new processes and help where needed Pitches in on shop cleanup 18 years of age or older Prior shop, warehouse, production, manufacturing, metalworking, or fabrication experience is helpful but not required. A willingness to learn, work hard, and maintain a high standard matters more than prior experience. We provide PPE and train you on every machine before you run it.
