Qualified Staffing is hiring Automotive Upholsterers for an automotive parts and accessories company in Petersburg, VA. This role is responsible for assembling and finishing interior components such as seats and panels using materials like vinyl, leather, foam, and carpet. What You'll Do Cut, fit, and apply materials such as vinyl, leather, foam, and carpet to seat frames and interior components Assemble finished products including seats, panels, and heat shields Operate hand tools such as staple guns, glue guns, scissors, and cutting tools Assist with additional shop tasks including cutting, sewing support, packing, and quality checks Follow patterns, diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support quality standards and ensure finished products meet specifications Assist with new product development when needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Previous upholstery, assembly, or hands-on production experience preferred Ability to read and follow patterns and instructions Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to safely use hand tools Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours) Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Frequent use of hands for cutting and assembly tasks Why Work With Qualified Staffing?
