POSITION SUMMARY
Not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. The position is responsible for providing quality carpet & upholstery cleaning, hard floors restoration, and water extraction services. Additional accountabilities include, but not limited to: ensuring all actions are completed in a safe manner; following instructions on work orders; working as a team; maintains a consistent flow of communication with team; and, taking before and after pictures.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required IICRC Certifications desired but not mandatory 1 | P a g e
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1
year experience Demonstrated ability to work as a team Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new skills Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite desired; photo taking skills a plus Professional personal presentation High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations required Valid driver license required Ability to handle changing priorities and achieve desired objectives required Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the company and clients Ability to maintain poise, tact and diplomacy required Ability to adjust scheduled to meet business needs
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties may be assigned. Fosters a consistent flow of communication with clients, technicians, and management Ensures all work is completed per work order instructions and ensures work orders are then completed with all proper time and notes captured Ensures all scheduled jobs come in at budgeted scheduled hours or better Maintains the ability to take pro-active and creative approaches in resolving any challenges Understand/accurately perform all cleaning (restorative/maintenance) methods for carpet, furniture and wall panels, to include, upholstery, fabric, and leather Understand and accurately perform cleaning (restorative and maintenance) methods for hard surfaces including but not limited to ceramic, porcelain and stone Understand and accurately perform water damage restoration Complete work order paperwork after each job and notify supervisor of any special circumstances including photo narratives as appropriate Responsible for maintaining a safe work area including the use of caution signs and barriers Responsible for care and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and vehicles Report to work on time and in proper uniform Pursue obtaining IICRC certifications in commercial carpet, upholstery, water restoration and ceramic tile Follow rules, policies, regulations as outlined in company handbook Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner Physical demands; while performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand and walk, frequently required to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, frequently lift and or up to 50 pounds.
