  • Receive materials from suppliers; unpack, count and verify quantity of items received against packing list and place in designated areas
  • Operate forklift to move materials/sheet goods within shop
  • Handling sheet goods and hardware
  • Help out in the shop as needed Delivery Assistant Responsibilities - Load and unload cabinets, furniture and materials efficiently for multiple deliveries; drive truck responsibly and courteously; ensure product arrives onsite on time and undamaged; plan travel schedules and routes using maps and other trip planning aids; perform daily maintenance and inspection of vehicle; pick up materials and parts from other suppliers; communicate regarding schedule/delivery changes, pick-ups etc.
; inspect materials and parts being picked up or delivered to ensure quality; organize paperwork and documentation; assist carpenters with installation; work in a fast-paced environment that is physically demanding within tight deadlines. Required skills and experience - Valid driver's license; clean driver's abstract; physically able to load and unload cabinetry and materials; able to carry loads in excess of 100 lbs; customer service skills; respectable, polite demeanor when interacting with suppliers and customers; knowledge of greater Puget Sound area an asset; ability to drive vehicle with safe care and attention; must be organized, punctual and conscientious; carpentry and installation skills a plus.
