We're looking for a professional, dedicated veterinary assistant with hospital experience to help us deliver excellent care to every patient who walks through our doors. What You'll Do:
Help monitor patients during anesthesia and respond as needed Provide hands-on care for hospitalized patients Maintain accurate medical records, documenting conditions, reactions, and changes in a timely manner Communicate with pet owners during wellness exams and sick or surgical visits Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture Run and maintain our in-house bloodwork equipment Take part in continuing education and stay current through professional journals Help wherever needed as part of a hands-on team
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is: Experienced in a hospital setting Knowledgeable about medical procedures and passionate about animal welfare Organized, with strong time management skills A clear communicator with both coworkers and pet parents Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth
