Job Description

Full-Time | Busy 3-Doctor Practice We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant ready to step into a fast-paced, high-energy clinic. Our busy 3-doctor practice is looking for a dedicated team player to help us deliver exceptional care to our patients and clients. Knowledge of Avimark a plus.

4-day work week (1 set weekday off every week)
Schedule:
Full-time hours with a rotating weekend shift — work only every 3rd Saturday from 7:00 AM to 12:00
PM Environment:

Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with physical exams, patient restraint, and medical procedures. Must be able to lift and handle pets > 50lbs Prepare treatment rooms, surgical suites, and lab equipment Administer medications and collect lab samples as directed by veterinary staff Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care, discharge instructions, and appointments Maintain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical areas
Qualifications & Requirements:
Prior Veterinary Assistant Experience Required:
Must be comfortable with animal handling, restraint, and basic clinical workflows in a high-volume setting Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure Reliable, punctual, and passionate about animal health and patient care Must be flexible and willing to help out wherever needed
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
