Job Description
Part-time Veterinary Receptionist/Kennel Assistant Needed. An assistant educates clients on the veterinarian's recommendations to care for their pet's needs. We are in search of a candidate with a positive attitude and great communication skills. Our employees are cross trained to help with all aspects of the veterinary team; duties include answering phones, helping with the front desk, filling prescriptions, cleaning, stocking and prepping for surgery, updating logs and records, caring for patients and boarders, administering medications, handling temperamental patients and assisting with laboratory testing. Any hire will need to work some weekends, and occasional holidays. Pay rate depends on level of experience. There is a 90 day probation period for new hires. We have a weekly pay period with direct deposit for convenience.
