Animal care assistants are responsible, along with other staff, for assuring all animals are safe and comfortable while in our care, and includes cleaning facility and housing units/cages, laundry, feeding and cleaning patients, bathing, nail trims, and assisting veterinarians with care and treatments. Weekend and holiday shifts are required to care for boarding animals. Understanding or animal behavior, fear free approach and experience working with dogs and cats necessary.
