Job Overview:
Provide basic patient care and client service in collaboration with the entire veterinary healthcare team, including basic patient assessment, treatment, and appointment/walk-in facilitation. Focuses on client interaction, outpatient procedures, and doctor support in the exam room.
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology Willingness to pursue further education and training Must have recent experience in veterinary practice- 1 year required Great leadership skills and self-motivated Responsibilities Assist veterinarians in examining and treating animals, ensuring proper handling and restraint techniques are employed. Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with the team and clients. Monitor animal health and behavior, providing essential care and support. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic, including animal housing areas. Participate in the administration of medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff. Assist in laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing when required.
