Description Veterinary Assistant Farmington Veterinary Clinic Farmington, AR Part-time:
less than 30 hours/week, 3-4-day work week, rotating Saturdays Who we are Farmington Veterinary Clinic, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. We are a busy 2-doctor companion animal veterinary practice located in Farmington, Arkansas! We strive to make work fun, engaging, and rewarding.
Qualifications:
Recent veterinary experience including knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology HIGHLY preferred Recent experience working with companion animals

Be punctual and considerate of those around them Communicate effectively and with confidence Be resilient and ready to tackle any challenges head on Have a sincere desire to help animals and their people Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient exams, treatments, diagnostics, surgery preparation, and nursing care. Safely restrain and handle patients while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms, treatment areas, laboratories, and surgical suites. Support daily hospital operations, patient flow, inventory management, and administrative tasks. Work collaboratively with the hospital team to deliver compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and an outstanding client experience.
